I shoplifted from Fred Meyer, what should I expect?

I was recently caught shoplifting and was wondering what all I might expect. It was at a Fred Meyer store in Washington State, and what I attempted to take was two packages of meat, a box of hair dye and three nail polishes, totaling about $30. I'm not even sure why I did it, momentary lapse of thinking, but I did. I have no record, this is my first offense of any kind, and the police were not called. The security man said I might be fined for up to $200 plus the amount of what I tried to take, but no mention of going to court. I'm wondering if the fine is all I should be expecting or if I should also expect to go to court.
