How do i craft in Dargon Age Origins?

Copying and pasting without any real knowledge will be useless. THis is for PC. I have morrigan. She is a master herbalist. I don't know how to access the poisons or any of the crafting. I have bought recipes and think have done everything to be able to do it. I click on skills and it just shows be those bid boxes like master herbalist or whatever. Yes I am a noob. THIS IS ON A PC.
