Wiring a momentary N.O. switch for a guitar?

I want to use this switch (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/image/10980/ele-370_4.jpg/ele-728/Red_Illuminated_Bulgin_Style_Momentary_Vandal_Switch_-_16mm_-_Black_Housing_-_Ring_Illumination.html) as a momentary "kill switch" on my guitar, but am confused as to where to wire my ground and "hot" pickup signals. My battery clip goes positive to the positive on the switch, and negative to negative (right?), but then should the hot output from my pickups be connected to the NO terminal and the ground signal be connected to the C terminal? If anyone doesn't understand, the idea behind this is to "kill" the guitar signal whenever the button is pressed down. Thanks!
